The scheduled five-game series between the UTB/TSC Scorpions and Instutito Tecnologico Superior de Poza Rica has been cancelled.

Poza Rica could not acquire the necessary paperwork to cross the American border. The two teams were scheduled to play a single game on Thursday, February 1, and doubleheaders on February 2 and 3.

The home opener for the Scorpions is now scheduled Thursday, February 15. against Viterbo University of Wisconsin. UTB/TSC plays on the road February 9 against The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor in Belton.
