The Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board approved the renaming of the College of General Studies to the College of Applied Technology and General Studies. The previous move of the BAT and BAAS programs into the College of General Studies and the recent moves of Applied Business Technology and Industrial Technology into the renamed

College will further facilitate the University's support of the legislature's philosophies of seamless transition and closing the gap. These changes will also facilitate the development of new career/technical programs and the expansion of current certificates into AAS programs, as well as create the potential for articulating applied bachelor's degrees into applied graduate programs. 

Hello! My name is Angela Wolf and I teach for the Applied Business Technology Department at The University of Texas at Brownsville and Texas Southmost College (UTB/TSC). My website was developed with students' needs in mind. It contains useful course information for students enrolled in my class. From this site you can see my course syllabi and view the learning outcomes from all the courses I teach.

In the Applied Business Technology Department, I mostly teach classes in the software applications area such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access. I am Master Certified in Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Word, and Outlook.

In my spare time I enjoy painting with acrylics and water colors. I have won ribbons for paintings entered at country fairs. I am also an animal lover having cared for a horse, two dogs, and a bird. I also enjoy traveling to foreign countries. I have been to France, England, Germany, Holland, Italy, Mexico, Jamaica, Singapore, Thailand, and Indonesia.
