Students, who satisfy the following criteria, are eligible to apply for the Sidney V. Neely Scholarship:

·        Have a junior or senior standing.

·        Have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0

·        Have a declared major in mathematics.

·        Be enrolled full-time during the award period.

·        Be a US citizen or resident alien.

The completed scholarship application and a transcript must be submitted to the Dr. Tony Lerma, either directly or through the Department of Mathematics Office by June 18, 2010.  The attached Nepotism form must also be completed, signed, dated, and submitted with the application.

Scholarship recipients may apply the scholarship to one of the following periods: fall 2010 or spring 2011.  The student must indicate his/her choice on the application and must be enrolled full-time (at least 12 credit hours) during that period to qualify.
